Sustainability at Flor
At Flor, sustainability is not just a commitment—it’s a way of life and has been the starting point of everything we do in the new restaurant. Sharing the same values as our “big brother” restaurant Natura, we prioritize responsible practices in everything we do. Natura was opened in 2016 by our founder and chef David, Natura has been a trailblazer in sustainable dining, earning accolades such as the Michelin Green Star, two circles in the 360EatGuide, and a place among the 100 best vegetable restaurants in the world by We Are Smart Green Guide. These achievements inspire us daily to uphold the same high standards at Flor and Natura´s work makes our journey towards sustainability much easier.
Our Philosophy We believe that exceptional dining experiences should coexist with a deep respect for the environment. Sustainability shapes every aspect of our operations, from the sourcing of ingredients to how we manage waste and energy. By embracing innovation and transparency, we aim to contribute to a global shift towards responsible dining.
Our restaurant has been built using primarily Finnish wood, crafted by skilled local artisans. This not only highlights the beauty and quality of domestic materials but also reflects our commitment to supporting Finnish craftsmanship and reducing the environmental impact of construction.

Eco-Friendly Materials
We are committed to sustainability and eco-friendliness in every aspect of our restaurant. Additionally, Savella clay paint is produced and packaged in Naantali, Finland, supporting local production and reducing transportation emissions.
